Seat Leon FR Supercopa

Fresh for the new '12' plate change SEAT is giving one of its most popular performance models, the hi-spec Leon FR+, the benefit of an even more sporty look courtesy of a dramatic special edition styling kit.
The impressive additions to the Leon's already lithe lines give the turbocharged 2.0-litre petrol- or diesel-engined FR+ looks reminiscent of the brand's many recent motorsport successes. And that's no mere coincidence, as the exclusive new Supercopa is constructed by the very same expert engineers at SEAT Sport who have nurtured SEAT's WTCC title-winning race cars in years gone by.
The car even sports a track-inspired model name with 'Supercopa' being, of course, also the moniker of SEAT's successful global one-make race series.
Boasting bespoke 'Supercopa' badges the special edition car's comprehensive styling additions include extensively re-worked front and rear bumpers, smart side skirts, a more pronounced tailgate spoiler, bespoke BBS 18-inch alloy wheels and unique chrome-tipped, twin exhausts.
Naturally the extensive styling enhancements come in a range of eye-catching colours including Nevada White, Emoción Red and, appropriately enough, Speed Blue.
SEAT aficionados will recognise, of course, that the Leon FR+ which forms the basis of the special edition new Supercopa is a generously equipped offering that's a significant step up from the 'standard' FR trim in terms of both performance and equipment.

Equipped with SEAT's powerful 2.0 TSI 211 PS petrol or 2.0 TDI CR 170 PS turbodiesel engines the Leon FR+ takes the FR trim and adds arch-filling 18-inch alloy wheels; the SEAT Media System 2.2 which includes satellite-navigation with five-inch colour touchscreen and dynamic route guidance, DAB radio, Bluetooth audio streaming and SD card slot; Bluetooth phone connection; bi-xenon headlights with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System) and rear parking sensors.
Representing truly exceptional value, the new Supercopa editions feature £3,000-worth of SEAT Sport body kit for just £750 more than standard versions of the Leon FR+. Prices therefore start from just £22,530 RRP on-the-road for the 2.0 TDI 170 PS six-speed manual model.
The SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa additions arrive as SEAT celebrates continued strong growth in what remains a challenging UK new car market. To the end of February SEAT's UK sales were up almost two per cent on the same period in 2011 which was, itself, an all-time record year for the brand here.
And the new car immediately grabs the spotlight as, from today, it becomes the star of SEAT UK's marketing activity around the SEAT-sponsored UEFA Europa League. The brand's television adverts around the remaining ties in this season's Europa League will consistently feature the new Supercopa.
Welcoming the arrival of the head-turning new SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa special editions, SEAT UK Head of Marketing, Chris Stevens, said: 'This stunning car represents many of the very best elements of SEAT. Gorgeous styling, superb levels of standard equipment and unrivalled value for money are the hallmarks of our cars, and they come together to exceptional effect in the SEAT Leon FR+ Supercopa. I'm sure this special edition model will, quite rightly, quickly become one of our most highly sought-after vehicles.'

Seat Ibiza

The next generation of the successful Spanish model is here - the new SEAT Ibiza captures the heart with its young, emotional design and fun-to-drive zest, and convinces the head with its innovative technologies and further improved functionality and quality. Plus, the new line-up offers enormous breadth to meet every individual demand - from the compact and sporty three-door SEAT Ibiza SC, to the dynamic and universal five-door SEAT Ibiza, to the elegantly practical SEAT Ibiza ST estate car. When it comes to engines, the line-up extends from the extremely efficient Ibiza E-Ecomotive with 89 grams of CO2/km to the exceptionally sporty SEAT Ibiza FR with 110 kW (150 hp). There are two strengths in particular that are common to all versions - a very high standard of quality and outstanding value for money. Market launch of the new SEAT Ibiza is scheduled for spring 2012.
The SEAT Ibiza is one of the best-selling models in its segment throughout Europe and the average age of its buyers is the youngest in its market segment. Design has long been one of the Ibiza's foremost strengths - named as the most important reason for purchase by customers, and to the same degree across all three body variants. This trend is set to continue in future - with its modern, fresh and optimistic look, the new Ibiza marks a further significant development of the SEAT design identity and prepares the way for future models.

"The Ibiza is an important foundation for our brand. With the new generation, we are taking a clear step forward - the fresh and young design language speaks to SEAT's unique and distinctive character. It underscores the precision and quality of our products," says James Muir President of SEAT, S.A. "This makes the new Ibiza a crucial element in SEAT's forward strategy. It will grow its success even further, not least in our new market of China."
Beneath its striking design, the new SEAT Ibiza offers an impressive array of innovative technologies. The latest-generation state-of-the-art TDI and TSI power units, the DSG transmissions and the start/stop system combine dynamics with exceptional efficiency and guarantee SEAT's signature driving fun.
"The new Ibiza is a clear showcase for SEAT's technical expertise. Emotional design, a thrilling drive and an exceptionally high quality standard deliver an extremely distinctive product character. The Ibiza is the sportiest and most versatile offering in its competitive field," says Dr. Matthias Rabe, Vice President for Research and Development at SEAT, S.A.
The bodyshell - three variants, one for every requirement
With its three bodyshell variants, the new SEAT Ibiza fits perfectly into every lifestyle. The five-door Ibiza, the three-door Ibiza SC and the Ibiza ST estate are not only design masterpieces, they also offer an interior that is exceptionally spacious and flexible for this class of vehicle.
The new Ibiza - universal five-door
On its market launch in 2008, the SEAT Ibiza was the first model on the all-new Volkswagen Group platform developed for this segment. This means not only more stability and comfort, but also an excellent standard of safety. The five-door with its sporty, eye-catching design comes with a luggage capacity of 292 litres. With such a generous amount of space, the Ibiza is ideally equipped for the practical challenges of everyday life.
The new Ibiza SC - sports coupé with three doors
At SEAT, sporting character is anchored firmly in the brand philosophy. With the three-door Ibiza SC, the company offers a model with a distinctly dynamic design and incredibly neat dimensions (4,043 millimetres long and just 1,428 millimetres high). Yet, behind the rear bench is room for 284 litres of luggage. The sports coupé boasts exceptionally agile handling characteristics, without making any compromises in comfort.
The new Ibiza ST - the most beautiful estate in its class
With its harmonious and highly elegant estate bodyshell, the SEAT Ibiza ST offers a wide range of possibilities for everyday and leisure use. The Ibiza ST offers an extremely high level of functionality, without making any concessions in its design. Despite its sporty lines, the storage capacity behind the rear bench is generous at 430 litres. There are two possibilities for increasing the load volume, both requiring just a few simple movements. The fast version is to fold the rear seat back onto the bench; as of the Style equipment line, the rear bench is split 60:40. Alternatively, you can first tilt the seat cushions upright; this delivers a virtually flat load surface, while the compact rear headrests fit into niches on the underside of the bench. Loaded to the roof, the SEAT Ibiza ST then offers up to 1,164 litres of storage space. There is even plenty of room for two bicycles with their front wheels removed. The maximum load capacity is 515 kilograms.

The standard equipment package for the Ibiza ST includes illumination and bag hooks in the luggage compartment. As an option, SEAT can deliver nets and additional box compartment under the tray for the load compartment. The accessories programme includes mounts and fixtures for the transport of skis, bicycles and roof boxes, as well as a tow hook. Depending on the engine version, the SEAT Ibiza ST can tow up to 1,200 kilograms (braked, on an 8 percent incline).
The new design - attention to detail
Sporty character and high product quality are written all over the new Ibiza's face - SEAT Design stands for technology and precision, as well as for youthful avant garde. The distinctive centrepiece is the trapezoidal grille featuring the SEAT logo. The flatter proportions and horizontal honeycomb structure of the grille and the lower air intake emphasize the width of the new SEAT Ibiza. The bumpers front and rear have been redesigned with a look that is particularly accentuated on the sporty Ibiza FR version. Standard equipment on the FR and available as an option on the other models are the large fog lamps with integrated cornering lights.
The sophisticated design of the headlamps bears testament to the enormous attention afforded by SEAT to the details. The edgy style of the lamps is a hallmark feature of the new SEAT design language, while being perfectly integrated into the SEAT Ibiza's sculptural form. The headlamps are available in two halogen versions or with optional bi-xenon lamps and LED daytime running lights. The latter trace the form of the headlamps to deliver a unique light signature, as do the optional LED rear lights (standard on the FR).
Clear and athletic character
From the side, the new Ibiza looks like a precisely hewn sculpture on wheels. The characteristic "Línea Dinámica" runs from the headlamps over the powerfully drawn wheel arches to the rear. A second, equally sharp character line runs across the muscular rear shoulders to the rear lamps. These powerful lines and the interplay of taut surfaces lend the Ibiza an athletic character - on both the three-door sports coupé and the universal five-door.

And even the functional estate car conveys an unmatched look of dynamism - without any restriction to its exceptional utility. The self-confident design of the rear end gives the SEAT Ibiza ST a very powerful sign-off. The roof-edge spoiler with integrated third brake light protrudes a little beyond the large rear windscreen. The rear lights emphasise the width of the vehicle with their horizontal, inward running design. At the spot where their extended lines meet is the large SEAT logo that - as on the five-door and SC, too - serves as the handle for the rear hatch.
"The new-generation Ibiza fits perfectly into the SEAT brand identity. It has a powerful and solid stance, it displays a dynamic character and always remains refined and self-confident," says Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, Head of SEAT Design.
The interior - high quality on the inside, too
The emotional power of the exterior design is also reflected in the interior of the new SEAT Ibiza - with a forceful but extremely minimalist and clearly structured cockpit design. The exceptional feeling of quality, the high precision of the workmanship, the wide choice of colours and materials ranging all the way to fine leather upholstery serve to underscore SEAT's standards. The level of detail can be sensed throughout the new Ibiza - in the new three-spoke steering wheel, in the new control unit for the Climatronic, in the new paint surfaces. The focus, however, always remains on functionality - the new instrument binnacle with its improved display is one example, the significantly larger glove compartment, another. With a generous storage volume of 10.7 litres, this storage unit now offers space for a lot more accessories and useful items than simply a pair of gloves.
The seats in the SEAT Ibiza are ergonomically formed, with a sporty, low-slung mounting position that can also be positioned higher, according to preference. The seats are generously padded with cold foam - they combine comfort with excellent body support and are outstanding over long distances. In the Ibiza FR, the exclusive sports seats have pronounced side cushions - providing the body with exceptionally firm lateral grip.
A further comfort factor is the steering wheel, which is adjustable for height and reach. The steering wheel and gearknob are optionally available clad in leather, a feature that is standard for the FR line. In the SEAT Ibiza FR the steering wheel has its own distinct and even sportier design.
All display and operating elements are conceived so that the driver can read and use them completely intuitively. Beneath the elegant cover of the redesigned instrument binnacle are the large dials for engine revs and road speed recessed into sporty tubular surrounds. The display between the dials shows fuel level, temperature and information from the on-board computer, which is standard equipment as of the Style line.
The new control unit for the air conditioning is located in the lower section of the centre console. A manually controlled air conditioning unit is optional with the Reference line. For the Style and FR lines, SEAT offers optionally the fully automatic Climatronic system, which shows the selected temperature in a large illuminated display.
Above the air conditioning control is the operating unit for the audio system, which also incorporates an aux-in connection. A USB interface and Bluetooth hands-free set-up are among the options.
The tautly executed dashboard, circular air vents, the three-spoke steering wheel and a short gearstick - the sporty, emotional character that distinguishes the exterior of the SEAT Ibiza carries through to the inside, too. All details of the interior display meticulous workmanship, recognizable in the quality of the materials. All buttons and switches have precise movements with clearly defined travel and a satisfying "click" operation; the dashboard surface is padded with soft foam.
In the Style and FR equipment lines, black leather upholstery is available as an option for the seats. For even more individualisation, there is an additional Design package.
The Drive - sporty and efficient engines
The engine line-up for the new SEAT Ibiza is broad-ranging and consists of new-generation three and four-cylinder power units. The range of petrol units extends from the incredibly economical 1.2 litre with 44 kW (60 hp) to the energetic 1.4 TSI with supercharger and turbocharger. 110 kW (150 hp) and the standard-fit DSG transmission catapult the SEAT Ibiza to 100 km/h in just 7.6 seconds, and onwards to an impressive top speed of 212 km/h. In the new Ibiza, this power unit is now also available for the ST estate version, which will wear the FR badge for the first time.
Particular efficiency is delivered by the Ibiza 1.2 TSI Ecomotive - the state-of-the-art power unit with 77 kW (105 hp) delivers refined drive with its maximum torque of 175 Newton metres from 1,550 r/min to 4100 r/min, yet sips on an average of just 4.9 litres/100 km - thanks also to the start/stop technology that is fitted as standard.
The TDI engines with common-rail injection are even more efficient when it comes to fuel consumption and emissions. The 1.2 TDI CR makes do with just 3.8 litres/100 km (Right Hand Drive: 3.9 litres/100 km) and achieves excellent CO2 emissions with 99 grams/km (Right Hand Drive: 102 grams/km). The 1.6 TDI CR, available with an output of either 66 kW (90 hp) or 77 kW (105 hp), also boasts exemplary fuel consumption at 4.2 litres/100 km (CO2 emissions - 109 grams/km) for the 66kW version and 4.7l and 24g/km for the 77kW.
The sporty pinnacle of the SEAT Ibiza diesel line-up is marked by the 2.0 TDI CR with 105 kW (143 hp) - shared beween the Ibiza SC FR and Ibiza five-door FR. No competitor in this segment offers such a powerful diesel, and no other masters the combination of performance and efficiency so effectively - its performance off-the-mark (0 to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds) and top speed of 210 km/h is balanced by an average fuel consumption of just 4.6 litres/100 km (CO2 emissions - 119 grams/km).
The Ibiza 1.2 TDI CR E-Ecomotive - particularly efficient
The efficiency highlight is the SEAT Ibiza 1.2 TDI CR E-Ecomotive with an average fuel consumption of just 3.4 litres/100 km. This equates to a first-class CO2 figure of 89 grams/km - in all bodyshell variants. Yet the compact hi-tech TDI delivers attractive performance with its 55 kW (75 hp) and its highly respectable torque of 180 Newton metres. The Ibiza 1.2 TDI CR E-Ecomotive is fitted as standard with start/stop technology that contributes to fuel saving without the driver having to make a conscious effort. When the car stops at a red light, for instance, and the driver goes into neutral, the start/stop system switches the engine off. As soon as the clutch pedal is depressed again, the engine immediately restarts automatically. The car is also equipped with a recuperation system that regenerates energy during every braking manoeuvre. This reduces the load on the engine and lowers fuel consumption.
The efficient Aerodynamic package on the Ibiza 1.2 TDI CR E-Ecomotive incorporates an enclosed radiator grille and a lower air intake that optimises airflow within the engine compartment. It also includes a 40 millimetre longer front spoiler, a spoiler on the rear hatch, special deflectors on the rear wheel arches and 15-inch wheels with closed covers. These modifications result in a drag coefficient of 0.30. A shift recommendation display and slightly increased tyre pressure (2.9 bar front, 2.7 bar rear) complete the efficiency savings package of the SEAT Ibiza 1.2 TDI CR E-Ecomotive.
Hi-tech transmissions and running gear
Just as modern as the engines are the transmissions in the new SEAT Ibiza. Alongside perfectly spaced ratios within the five and six-speed manual gearboxes, a number of engines are offered with DSG transmissions either as standard equipment or as an option. This dual-clutch transmission offers not only the comfort of an automatic, but also the benefit of compelling efficiency.
The running gear of the new Ibiza boasts an extremely sophisticated layout that has been carefully fine tuned, giving the compact model handling characteristics that are as sporty as they are safe. The ESP electronic stability program is standard equipment. Engines as of 77 kW/105 hp are combined with the XDS electronic differential lock. When the electronics recognise that there is too little load on the front inside wheel during cornering it applies a brief braking impulse. The system compensates in this way for understeer, making the handling neutral and delivering powerful traction - just like a mechanical differential lock. The well balanced interaction between the various electronic systems ensures safety even in difficult situations. A powerful brake system with ABS is another example.
The standard electrohydraulic power steering has a sporty and direct set-up. It delivers a precise feel, fast feedback and intuitive changes of direction. It has a variable output pump, which uses only the amount of energy necessary for steering - remaining inactive during straight-line driving. This solution offers major benefits compared with a purely hydraulic system that permanently circulates its oil volume.
Comprehensive equipment, perfect individualisation
The equipment lines of the SEAT Ibiza range have also been revised, independent of bodyshell form. The base model Reference makes a compelling argument with all the key comfort and safety features. Above it is the Style version, which comes with air conditioning as standard. The Ibiza FR sets particularly sporty accents with expressive design elements front and rear, alloy wheels and a leather-clad steering wheel. The FR version of the new Ibiza is available in all bodyshell variants with the 1.2 TSI (77 kW/105 hp) or 1.4 TSI (110 kW/150 hp) petrol engines, or the 1.6 TDI CR (77 kW/105 hp) diesel. Reserved exclusively for the Ibiza SC FR and Ibiza FR is the 2.0 TDI CR (105 kW/143 hp) diesel. And every SEAT Ibiza can be adapted perfectly to suit personal style and individual preferences with an extensive range of colours, options and accessories.
The Ibiza runs on redesigned wheels ranging from 14 to 17 inches in diameter. For the Reference line, these are 14-inch steel wheels with 175/70 tyres; for Style, there are 15-inch steel wheels with 185/60 tyres. The new Ibiza FR runs on 16-inch alloy wheels clad in 215/45 tyres. SEAT offers sophisticated alloy wheel designs as options for all equipment versions - 15-inch for Reference, 16-inch for Style and, for the FR, even a 17-inch model. All tyres have been optimised for rolling resistance without compromising on comfort, safety and handling characteristics.
The new SEAT Ibiza is built for all global markets entirely at the state-of-the-art SEAT plant in Martorell near Barcelona. The new generation of the SEAT Ibiza will also be introduced in China in 2012. SEAT's combination of young, dynamic design-driven attributes with state-of-the-art technology, quality and precision - as epitomised by the Ibiza - will be well appreciated by discerning Chinese car-buyers.

Seat Toledo Concept

At the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, SEAT is presenting the next phase of its product offensive in the form of a close-to-production study - the SEAT Toledo Concept combines the proportions of a classic saloon car with a sporty, almost coupé-like design.
The next generation of the SEAT Toledo is an exceptional combination of emotion, outstanding design quality and rational usability, as is immediately apparent from the Geneva study. Its design language is a further development of the characteristic SEAT design - with a powerful and solid stance, with clear and precisely executed surfaces and lines, and with the new headlamp form that is a signature feature of SEAT's new design DNA.
But its striking design does not compromise its convenience. The SEAT Toledo Concept offers spaciousness and usability within compact dimensions. The Geneva study delivers a very distinct view of the future - the series-production version on which it is based will reach dealers later in 2012.
The new model clearly follows in the Toledo tradition - a highly successful milestone in SEAT history. Since it was first introduced in 1991, more than 860,000 units of the first and second generation of the mid-range saloon were built and delivered across many European countries. Alongside attractive design, its success was also the outcome of the Toledo's many practical merits.
At previous European motorshows, SEAT has presented its new style language with the highly acclaimed IBE, IBX and IBL concept cars. The SEAT Toledo Concept at the 2012 Geneva Salon illustrates its ongoing development to a series-production saloon. Not only will it be exceptionally attractive, but also exceptionally good value for money.
Within its length of 4.48 metres, the new Toledo will offer a generously proportioned interior for five people, a luggage compartment of more than 500 litres and the convenience of a large rear hatch and folding rear bench. Thus, the future Toledo manages to reconcile perfectly the apparently incompatible - combining an almost coupé-like profile with the comparable functionality of an estate car.

"The SEAT Toledo Concept illustrates our idea of the perfect mid-range saloon car. It is an excellent combination of emotional design, top-level usability and dynamic driving characteristics," says James Muir, President of SEAT, S.A. "The subsequent production model, our new Toledo, will write a whole new success story with its clear SEAT identity, its excellent quality standard and exceptional value-for-money. Following the Mii family and the new Ibiza, the new Toledo marks the next wave in our model offensive and growth strategy."
The Concept - fun driving and usability in a compact format
At a length of 4.48 metres, the forthcoming SEAT Toledo is compact enough for city driving. With its spacious interior and generous luggage capacity, it is nevertheless well equipped for long journeys and family transportation needs. The wheelbase of 2.60 metres delivers plenty of room for five passengers.
The luggage compartment is equally generously proportioned, with impressive volume and boasting excellent usability. Although perhaps not apparent at first glance, the new Toledo possesses a large rear hatch for optimum loading. Finally, the folding rear seats facilitate an exceptionally long load length and give the Toledo a usability that is almost on par with that of an estate car.
"With the Toledo Concept, we are offering a very clear view of the next generation of our mid-range saloon. The new Toledo will be a true SEAT - perfect for the demands of everyday life, with the highest levels of quality and reliability," says Dr. Matthias Rabe, SEAT Vice President for Research and Development. "State-of-the-art technologies in terms of engines and chassis will deliver fun driving combined with outstanding efficiency and safety - reflecting the core values of our brand. The Toledo will be equipped with the very latest technology from the Volkswagen Group."
The Design - a strong sporting character
SEAT Design is taking its characteristic design language to the next level with the Toledo Concept - and adding an extra portion of sophistication into the mix. From the very first glimpse, the close-to-production study cuts a fine figure with its stretched proportions, clean surfaces and sculpted edges. Neither one line too many nor too few - the Toledo is modern and forward-looking.

Powerful dynamics and a mature composure characterise the front end of the SEAT Toledo Concept. The SEAT grille with its honeycomb mesh retains its typical trapezoidal form, but with a very wide and low look. The same applies to the large air inlet beneath the bumper. The pentagonal form of the similarly broad front headlamps is one of the characteristic elements of the new SEAT model generation. Equally characteristic is the sophisticated detail design of the light units, with the chromed "wing" between main headlamp and daytime running light. The broad rear lights also underscore the mature styling of the new SEAT saloon, while the entire rear end conveys the impression of quality and solidity with its few, simply drawn lines.
The side profile of the Toledo has a taut and dynamic look. A clean edge runs from the headlamps across the shoulders to the rear lights; the area around the sills has a simple, sculptural feel. The most important element, however, is the roofline. It carves an elegant arc all the way to the powerful breadth of the C-pillar, which emerges seamlessly from the rear side panel. The very flat angle of the rear windscreen underscores the coupé look. But nevertheless, the designers and engineers paid close attention to achieving a high degree of functionality. The large door cut-outs in the rear, too, ease entry and exit.
The interior of the SEAT Toledo Concept reflects the modern, clear lines of the exterior. The spatial feel is light and roomy. The cockpit conveys a feeling of ergonomic clarity, with the top of the dashboard seeming to float effortlessly above the air vents and trim elements. The instrument dials are just as clean in their design as the centre console housing the audio and climate controls. The light colouring of the interior, the sophisticated stitching of the leather seats and the leather cladding on the cockpit and doors emphasise the fine, premium character of the SEAT Toledo Concept.
"The Toledo Concept has a powerful character, is sophisticated and timeless - a true personality. These qualities are shared with the owners of previous generations of Toledo," says Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, Head of SEAT Design. "The Toledo is a unique combination of sculptural design which encompasses classic modern lines with subtle sporting overtones and outstanding everyday usability."

Seat Exeo ST

From the autumn 2011, SEAT Exeo's distinctive design will be further enhanced and the powerful TDI engines become even more efficient. The new upgrade adds even more appeal to the sporty, comfortable SEAT Exeo and the spaciously dynamic SEAT Exeo ST. All diesel versions benefit from a decrease in CO2 emissions of around 7 grams per km - resulting in a CO2 figure of 129 grams per kilometre (Exeo ST, 132 g/km), making the Exeo one of the most efficient, low-emission vehicles in its class. Fuel consumption will also drop below the current combined figure of 5,2 l per 100 km (5,3 l on the ST).

And the introduction of these improvements to SEAT Exeo's efficiency are just the first step, with additional improvements to Exeo's efficiency scheduled to arrive in 2012 thanks to the fitment of SEAT's Start/Stop engine technology.
The addition of this technology - which stops the engine when the car is stationary, such as when waiting at a red traffic light - will significantly reduce consumption and emissions, with a target figure of sub-120g for CO2. SEAT Exeo's dynamic driving performance will not be compromised despite the reduction in consumption and emissions.
This low level of emissions will make SEAT Exeo one of the most efficient cars in its class and will further enhance its competitive appeal, particularly for fleets where emissions are a key purchasing factor.
The many strengths of the SEAT Exeo include its clear design language. With the redesigned front end, both the saloon and the estate are now even more expressive. The new, optional bi-xenon headlamps adopt the "arrow" theme that is so characteristic of SEAT design. The integrated daytime running lights in energy saving LED technology are sculpted into sharply defined, angular "wings", giving the SEAT Exeo a precise and dynamic look.
The sophisticated design of this light unit is clear evidence of the detail with which the SEAT Exeo was designed and developed. Together with the new, honeycomb grille insert, the LED rear lights and the all-new 17 and 18-inch alloy wheel designs, the SEAT Exeo now has an even more athletic and dynamic appearance - by night and by day. The interior is further enhanced with new upholstery. The redesigned leather steering wheel now sports an even more premium look-and-feel - further evidence of the passion that SEAT dedicates to every single detail.
Reduced fuel consumption and emissions across all TDI models
From a technical perspective, the focus was on further efficiency improvements. Systematic refinements to the power units enabled the CO2 emissions of all TDI versions to be reduced by around 7 grams per kilometre. The 88 and 105 kW (120 and 143 hp) saloon models with manual transmission now both come in below the 130 grams per kilometre mark.
SEAT Exeo combines driving fun and quality with low costs
This latest generation makes the SEAT Exeo an even more attractive proposition for business class people who set just as much store by driving fun and a premium feel as they do by efficiency, utility and low costs. The Exeo unites distinctive and elegant design with state-of-the-art technology, outstanding quality and excellent value-for-money.
Exceptional precision and premium feel
Alongside sporty dynamics, the SEAT Exeo is distinguished primarily by its precision and premium feel. The exceptionally stiff bodyshell structure is the fundamental factor in the high-quality feel, the exceptional bodyroll characteristics and precise road manners. The excellent fit and finish both inside and out bear testament to the attention to detail and the high precision with which the SEAT Exeo is built in Martorell near Barcelona. Add to that the premium materials and surface finishes, plus the very latest comfort and information systems
SEAT Exeo ST with significantly enhanced utility
At a length of 4.66 metres, the SEAT Exeo is the prestigious athlete of the mid-size class. It offers space for five passengers and a generously proportioned luggage compartment. The SEAT Exeo ST estate version delivers significantly enhanced utility. With its luggage volume ranging from 442 to 1,354 litres, its wide rear opening and its high level of variability, the Exeo ST is the perfect partner for all the challenges posed by an active, sporty lifestyle or a successful business day.
State-of-the-art technology for dynamics and safety
The application of state-of-the-art technologies underpins the hallmark sporty SEAT driving experience. The engine line-up ranges from 88 to 155 kW (120 to 210 hp). The latest TDI power units with common-rail direct injection ensure excellent pulling power, smooth running characteristics and outstanding efficiency. For particularly comfort-oriented drivers, the multitronic transmission with steering-wheel shift paddles presents an alternative to the manual gearbox. This efficient automatic is available as an option for the 2.0 TSI with 147 kW (200 hp) and for the 2.0 TDI with 105 kW (143 hp).
The SEAT Exeo is also a very safe vehicle in its class. Alongside the crash-optimized bodyshell structure, its standard equipment list also boasts seven airbags - including driver knee airbag - ESP system with ABS and electronic brake force distribution and automatic tyre pressure monitoring system. The list of hi-tech options is extensive and includes a DVD navigation system, bi-xenon headlamps with dynamic cornering light and a Bose sound system.

Seat Exeo

Seat Mii

SEAT is unveiling the SEAT Mii city car - the perfect vehicle for today's urban lifestyle. Quite simply, the SEAT Mii makes life easier - with compelling practicality, exceptional driving fun, high efficiency and innovative technology.
The Mii combines SEAT's sporty Mediterranean design with the very best craftsmanship and enormous scope for personalisation. Moreover, the outstanding value-for-money and low maintenance costs make the joy of driving a SEAT Mii easily attainable.

Spain, SEAT's home market, will begin sales of the Mii before the end of 2011, with the rest of Europe following in Spring 2012.
At a length of 3.55 metres, the SEAT Mii is the perfect size for modern-day urban use. The Mii comes to market at the end of 2011 as a three-door; the five-door version follows in 2012.
The new SEAT will be offered with all-new 1.0-litre petrol engines of 60 PS and 75 PS outputs. Combined with the vehicle's low weight of 854 kg these guarantee nimble agility and exemplary efficiency. The Mii Ecomotive has a CO2 figure of just 97 g/km.
The SEAT Mii is also a leader when it comes to innovative technology. The City Safety Assist for instance, adds an extra dimension of safety in the city, while the SEAT Portable System brings together entertainment, navigation, phone and vehicle functions in an entirely new way.

'The new Mii is the perfect partner for everyday urban life. It is young and fresh, thought through to the very last detail and built to the finest quality. The Mii brings clear SEAT identity to the sub-compact segment and is set to win a significant share of the market,' said James Muir, President of SEAT S.A. 'This is why the Mii is an important addition to the SEAT portfolio and a clear next step in our company strategy. With the Mii, we are starting the most comprehensive model offensive in SEAT history.'

Even though the SEAT Mii fits neatly into almost every parking space, its optimum use of space means it still offers plenty of space for four people. With a volume of 251 litres, the Mii offers the largest luggage compartment in its class. With the rear seat back folded, this increases to as much as 951 litres.
Yet the SEAT Mii doesn't stop at the city boundaries. Its spaciousness, excellent comfort levels and sporty dynamics - a direct result of its low weight - also make the Mii a compelling companion over longer distances.
'At just 3.55 metres long, the SEAT Mii combines innovative technologies with an incredibly well-balanced overall feel,' said Dr Matthias Rabe, SEAT Vice President for Research and Development.
'With its low weight and modern drivetrains, the Mii is both sporty and efficient at the same time.'
Design - Mediterranean modernity with clear character
Characteristic and unmistakable - the Mii is clearly recognisable as a member of the SEAT family. Its front end carries forward the typical arrow visual, while its profile is distinguished by powerful wheel arches and slender roof pillars.

The rear end shows a new form of light design with triangular lamp units. The perfect proportions are a key element and comprise a width of 1.64 metres, a long wheelbase of 2.42 metres and exceptionally short overhangs front and rear. The steep rear end facilitates the Mii's excellent spaciousness - optimal functionality is particularly important in the super-compact segment.
'The Mii breathes the very spirit of its remarkable hometown, Barcelona,' says Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos, the new Head of SEAT Design.
'It is modern, it has a strong personality, but it isn't loud. The Mii has the feel of a modern yet timeless product design. Every detail is precisely defined, but with not a line too many. With the Mii, we are making sporty chic and design quality attainable for all.'
Modern clarity and compelling functionality are defining aspects of the interior, too. The perfect ergonomics of the instruments and the control elements fit beautifully with the premium surfaces that can be individualised using coloured trim from the various equipment lines. Its seats are also new - with integrated head restraints they offer sports car flair, while being very comfortable and well-suited to long-distance driving.
Safety - the SEAT Mii monitors the road and brakes for itself
A unique innovation in this class of vehicle is the SEAT Mii's City Safety Assist. In the event of danger the Mii warns its driver, or even brakes automatically. A laser sensor recognises other vehicles in front, whether they are driving or stationary. The system warns the driver when there is the imminent threat of an accident at speeds of less than 18 mph (30 km/h). If he does not react, the Mii brakes automatically. In many situations this is sufficient to avoid an accident altogether but will, at the very least, mitigate its consequences. ESP is also available, and is always combined with City Safety Assist when specified.
Systematic lightweight design means that the base weight of the SEAT Mii is only 854 kg. Its bodyshell is a piece of high technology formed largely from high-strength and, in places, form-hardened steels. Thanks to exceptional stiffness, it delivers a high-quality feel and excellent passive safety. The side airbags are standard equipment and are particularly large for optimum protection of head and upper body.
Drive - sporty agility with low fuel consumption
Beneath the short bonnet of the Mii is a completely new generation of engines. The three-cylinder petrol powerplant with a one-litre displacement is very light, compact and smooth-running. With two outputs of 60 PS or 75 PS, it ensures agility and compelling dynamics both in the city and on the open road.
Top speeds stand at 99 mph (160 km/h) and 106 mph (171 km/h) respectively, while fuel consumption on the combined cycle is measured at 4.5 and 4.7 litres per 100 kilometres. With a generous 35-litre tank volume, it offers considerable range between fill-ups and long-lasting driving fun.
There are two Ecomotive versions of the Mii. Thanks to a start/stop system, brake energy recuperation and further consumption-lowering initiatives, they make do with just 4.2 litres of fuel per 100 km, which equates to a CO2 figure of just 97 g/km.
In Continental Europe the little SEAT will also be offered with CNG engineering. This lowers CO2 emissions to just 86 g/km, making the SEAT Mii one of the cleanest cars in the world.
Furthermore, as an alternative to a manual transmission, the Mii is also available with an automated manual box that boasts two electric motors to help manage the smooth gear change.
Infotainment - unique technology to boost efficient driving
SEAT is a young brand and the unique new SEAT Portable System is, of course, part of that. This innovative technology includes a five-inch screen - it is removable for mobile use and yet perfectly integrated into the vehicle electronics. Its many functions include a state-of-the-art navigation system, hands-free phone system with voice control and an on-board computer. The device can be combined with the integrated radio and speaker system.
'The Mii offers enormous intelligence in a compact format,' said Dr Matthias Rabe, SEAT Vice President for Research and Development. 'The SEAT Portable System shows how it is possible to offer fascinating technology and innovative functions with tangible added value at an attractive price.'
The unique features of the SEAT Portable System include an 'Eco-trainer' function. Gearshift display, engine speed recommendations, average values and consumption profile all help the SEAT Mii owner to drive particularly economically. Plus, the SEAT Portable System is fully integrated into the vehicle electronics. It can be kept up-to-date via internet downloads, while tailor-made apps will offer additional functions in the future.
Equipment - sporty chic
Offered in its home market with three equipment lines, two Style Packs and a wide array of optional equipment and accessories, the Mii can be adapted perfectly to suit individual lifestyles and preferences.
Even the base model has all the key elements for safety and urban driving fun such as ABS, an adjustable steering column, side airbags and Isofix points with Top Tether. Reference and Style are the names of the two other equipment lines in Spain, with Style offering features such as power windows and central locking.
Prefer more chic or more sporting character in your SEAT Mii? The two equipment packages Chic and Sport offer the choice, with special colour and trim elements for interior personalisation. Alloy wheels and a leather steering wheel are always part of the package - the chrome package in the Chic version adds a special touch, while the Sport version offers tinted windows and a sporty suspension set-up for an even more dynamic feel.
