Fiverr - What's It All About

By Bhanu Kiran

Fiverr.com is a relatively new social network site or 'micro gigging site' which has become very popular. On Fiverr, people or companies sell their products and services for just a low flat rate of five dollars. Although it may not sound like much, if you offer the right product and services and consistently receive good feedback from your customers, then this income can add up quite quickly.
Many people offering their products or services on Fiverr use this a platform to supplement their income and in these uncertain global economic times, it is becoming an increasingly popular way of generating quite a fast short term income. Those people offering the most unique in-demand services or products are the ones who fair better than those people who just offer the same products or services as everyone else.
The way to receive many orders from Fiverr is to go over and beyond what you deliver to your customer by delivering excellent service. When someone orders from you, it will usually benefit you if the job is finished as quickly as possible, yet at the same time, offering real value and a high standard of work.
At present, the most popular products and services on Fiverr seem to be around web site marketing and promotion and as such, Fiverr is a great platform for the cheap outsourcing of these services.
Other popular services centre around promotion via popular social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter. The top 10 products and services which seem to have the highest demand tend to be around the following:
1. Article Writing
2. Fan Building around Facebook, Twitter and StumbleUpon
3. Link Building
4. Blog Commenting
5. Logo Design
6. Web Design/Graphics
7. Ebooks About IM/MMO
8. Video Creation
9. Offline Marketing Services
10. SEO
Once you have completed your job or 'gig', you do have to wait for around twenty days for the money to be credited into your account and be available for withdrawal. Fiverr keeps $1 dollar as a commission service fee and the person completing the work then receives the remaining $4 dollars. At the appropriate time, you can then have your funds paid into your Paypal account.
If you should use Fiverr to purchase a product or service make sure you search by rating. This will ensure you get the best providers. If you can provide a high quality service or product that takes you very little time, you can do pretty good on Fiverr or other microjob sites.
If you are offering a service or product on Fiverr, as said before, you should attempt to deliver your work quickly and offering the best quality and standard of work that you can do. This is a good way to achieve positive ratings and good feedback for your work. Also you may easily get repeat customers who have a constant stream of work for you if you provide good service and quality.
With the popularity of Fiverr, many others have tried to copy this by setting up clone sites, such as Tennerr, GigBucks, Zeerk, Dealerr, Jiverr and so on. However Fiverr appears to be the most popular and widely used due to it being the first company to implement such an original and simple concept which people just love.

4 Best Tips to Generate Natural Backlinks

By Jeff R Matthews

In recent times, Google has become more sophisticated in spotting poor quality links and WebPages. Perhaps your link service is the type that promises tons of high PR links for ridiculously low service fee; also if you use automated system to generate links, it is most likely that Google would penalize your site for attempting to play a fast game on them.
It is simply logical, since you can locate that automated system, Google in all its sophistication can do so as well, and even faster. So, trying to play a fast one on Google would only be for your own detriment.
One of the best ways to rank better on Google is to solicit for links from related sites and other sources that would link to your website on their own.
Ways to generate natural backlinks:
  • Your website should be link-worthy

A link-worthy website is characterized by informative quality content. Other webmasters would be reluctant to link to your site if your site is a mere collection of affiliate links. The types of contents that webmasters like to-link-to include controversial publications, 'How to articles', as well as top 10 lists. An interesting website would naturally attract links

  • Ensure that your website is featured on the right category

Although links from internet directories do not have much direct effect again, these directories enable you to categorize your website appropriately. With many directories that are able to categorize your website correctly, Google would get the signal that your site is contextually well placed and would rank it high as a result.

  • Be a problem solver

If your site features a content that is solution-oriented to an identifiable problem, get in touch with related sites and point them to such content. The blogs and websites you are contacting to link to the content, should also be similar to the subject matter of the content, and preferably must have written on the topic before.

  • Direct links to different WebPages on your site and do not use the same link texts

The website influences the structure of a natural backlink design. For some websites, most of the links come to the home page; while in some other sites, the links are distributed among the webpages.

Finally, implore the websites that link to yours to use the keywords you intend ranking high in the linked text. Also, ensure that the linked texts are not the same; otherwise the whole thing may appear automated.
Generating relevant backlinks is very essential if you must rank high on Google and other search engines.

By Dascalul Radu

Article marketing and SEO are two great strategies which can be successfully used in any type of online business to drive organic traffic and generate laser targeted leads. In fact, if they are implemented together consistently your business for a couple of months your results will increase dramatically.
Today, I want to share with you more things about how article marketing and SEO work plus some practical steps to integrate them in your marketing efforts.
SEO is represented by all the adjustments you can make for a blog, website or a simple piece of content in order to be found and indexed by the major search engines: Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing etc.
There are two main types of optimization:
-On page: all that can be done on a page to appear in the search results
-Off page: is nothing else that getting strong backlinks for your page and increase their rankings.
Article marketing is one of the best off page strategies! It involves writing optimized articles and submitting them to various article directories social media sites and so forth. The goal is to get as many backlinks to your blog from the authoritative websites. Thus, Google and other search engines will give you more recognition and of course traffic.
However, there are people who write an article only for the search engines and ignore a vital element: people. Every piece of content you put on the Internet must be original and valuable! Stuffing an article only with SEO stuff will create a bad reputation among your readers!
Here are a few tips to combine article marketing and SEO harmoniously:
-Keyword research
Before you write anything, research for low competition keywords. These are actually solutions to the problems from your niche. Use professional tools to make a complete analysis and select long tailed keywords ( usually these have a good amount of global monthly searches and can bring you decent traffic).
-Focus on your blog
This is the central hub where you brand yourself, create a community and promote different products or services. Article marketing and SEO must be used to make your blog stronger! So, write a blog post first using the chosen keyword.
-After your blog post is published, write an original article which provides great information. Keep it short (around 500 words) and always related to your niche.
-Use the same keyword wisely
Instead of stuffing the article with keywords, try to maintain a good density (use it in the title, the first sentence, around three or four times in the body)
-Include in your resource box two links to your blog (one in the original post)
Try to avoid spamming here! The article offers certain solutions and the resource box must lead to additional information.
After your article is completed submit it to multiple article directories (Ezine Articles, Go Articles, Articles base and many more others), social networks, social bookmarking sites etc.
As a recommendation, don't use article submission software. Google doesn't appreciate that and as a result, you will not rank for them.
With these guidelines, article marketing and SEO can work wonders for you now and in the long run as well.

Top 5 AdSense Secrets

By Kean Graham

AdSense is a tool that belongs to Google's advertising program suite. The incentive for website owners to utilize AdSense is to allow Google top post advertisements on their sponsored websites. This can consist of embedded images, text advertisements and even linked blog content. All website owners involved must enroll in the AdSense program through the website Google uses to build this program. Just search for "Google AdSense" on Google.
I am sure you are looking for AdSense secrets at this point, but hang in there. There are requirements to meet when working with the AdSense program. They will require you to add a piece of code on your website. This code determines the configuration of the advertisements and the content embedded. This helps Google to keep your advertisements floating in the internet. You gain earnings based on the number of ads linked to your website and how often your site gets "clicked." Google AdSense utilizes a system that assimilates your earned revenue based on a per-click basis and conversions after the clicks according to your ad impressions.
This is all a simple process to get started with AdSense and send your business into a boom of AdSense tricks, revealing Google AdSense secrets layer upon layer.
So now we move on to the AdSense tricks of the trade. These are the top 5 tips to give you an AdSense advantage with your business. This is concise and easily executed, so pay attention:
1. Mix up your ads into an appealing visual blend. Use AdSense color and font size to adapt a unique appearance. This concept has been tested through application and it has proven to be effective. It is advised to use a similar color of your web page background in the field of your advertisement. Use blending, similar colors overall. Working with a graphic artist may be useful as certain unexpected colors such as the many shades of brown may add a compelling visual impact to the advertisement.
2. It is a wise choice to opt for high add placement, first on the page, just like the ideal pick of fruit from a fruit basket. Primary ads appearing in the page will generally gain the most income per click.
3. It is of great benefit to opt into image, video and flash ads on top of the text ads. Among all of the AdSense tips, this is the most useful. Embedded images can be isolated images, animation sequences (brief), or even short advertorial content. Visual appeal is powerful. This catches the attention of the viewer immediately. The first ten words used in a video are critical to catching observer attention. Incentive points are thus clicked more often, and AdSense tricks gain you further income.
4. If you are running multiple sites, Your CTR is actually calculated from your overall account and not only each individual channel. This means that a low CTR on one account will crash your overall account even if another of your sites is simply booming in CTR. Any websites that have a 0.02% or lower CTR, remove them. Move on.
5. Opt-into placement advertising. This allows advertisers to specifically choose your website to advertise on. Make sure to allow advertisers to advertise on all your banners and provide useful descriptions. The easier you make it for them to find your site to advertise on, the more advertisers you'll get. Remember, placement advertisements generally yield higher RPM's then contextual.
These tips should give you new insight into some AdSense secrets to benefit the growth of your business and improve overall revenue.

7 Powerful Ways How to Improve Your Google AdSense Click Through Rate (CTR)

By Paul Steven Nicholls

Increasing your Google AdSense click through rate can have such a massive positive impact on how much your site earns so if you have a website which currently has a very low click through rate then your going to want to pay close attention in this article.
These are 5 effective ways how you can improve your click through rate:
Tip 1 - Use the default Google blue colour for the title of your ads
When you set up your ads make sure you always select the default Google blue colour. Even if your sites theme is a different colour still use blue because people on the internet have been conditioned for years to click on links which are (blue) if you start using red, yellow and green etc your CTR may drop.
Tip 2 - Reduce the options on your page
You need to make sure your site is clean and organized without all the clutter. If you have lots of other distractions on your site then your CTR will plummet and you will lose a lot of revenue. All you need is your content, ads, header and if you want to include any widgets in the sidebar then recent posts, pages or categories will be OK to use.
Tip 3 - Experiment with ad positions
Most of the time the 336x280 block and a 160x600 sidebar ad block will nearly always work very well how ever there's no harm in still testing to see if you can squeeze out even more profits from your AdSense site
Tip 4 - Don't use images in your content
Images will effect your CTR on your sites because they attract attention so you will end up getting less clicks and making less money. Basically do not use any images if you want to maximize your sites AdSense income.
Tip 5 - Never use borders with your ads
Do not ever use borders in your ads this is an absolute terrible mistake to make. Borders make them look like obvious ads and will again reduce your CTR by a lot. Instead select your page background colour for your ad border colour so it blends in.
Tip 6 - Ads above the fold
AdSense ads that are above the fold will get many more clicks so always put at least 2 type of ads above the fold. The fold is basically anywhere you can see before you scroll down the page.
Tip 7 - Make sure your content has relevant keywords
If you do not have relevant keywords within your content then you will not trigger the correct type of ads for your site so that means you may not get the best type and most relevant ads which will end up giving you a very low CTR. Good unique, quality content which is keyword rich and relevant to the type of ads that you want to be visible on your site.

3 Steps to a More Profitable AdSense Website

By Gareth J Power

It seems that every man and his dog wants to make money using Google AdSense. What's more, it seems that every new webmaster who dares venture into this territory does so with easily achievable profits in mind.
The one thing that we always have to remember about Google AdSense is that it's a lot like any other monetization strategy: it takes a fair share of failures, a large sum of trial and error, to get it right.
The biggest danger that a lot of webmasters face, particularly webmasters who are new to the process of monetizing a website using Google AdSense, is relying solely on the medium to profit from their web presence.
Google AdSense should be merely one monetization strategy in a collection of monetization strategies for a blog or website - what's more, it should not be the sole reason for your website's existence.
However, in this article I will go into more depth on a few steps you can take to potentially improve the AdSense earnings you generate from your blog or website.
#1: Increase the Prominence of Your Ad Units:
The simplest way to improve your existing AdSense earnings is to focus on increasing the prominence of the Ad Units which currently feature on pages throughout your website.
The simplest way to achieve this is to raise the Ad Units above the fold of your site, and make them one of the focal points of your landing pages.
Many webmasters focus heavily on integrating AdSense ads into their content without ever considering where, rather than how, these Ads should be placed.
The best position for your Ad Units is obviously above the fold of your website.
#2 Integrate Your Ads into Your Content
It's really simple to try and make your AdSense Ads stand out from the rest of your content - however, this is also one of the biggest makes new AdSense developers make when launching a new web presence.
It's quite simple really, all you have to do is ask yourself whether or not you would be more inclined to click on an Ad because it is highlighted a bright shade of orange? The answer is typically no.
You should always be more focused on trying to integrate your Ads as opposed to making them stand out. Not only will this benefit your click-through rate, but it's also likely to result in superior clicks, clicks which are more likely to convert, for advertisers.
#3 Consider The Number of Ad Units you place on a page
Web users don't typically respond very well to "Ad Farms."
You have to begin looking at your website as one of your users looks at it - you have to ask the question: would the proliferation of Ads on this page in any way detract from the user experience?
If the answer is yes, then you should potentially reconsider positioning Ads on the page.
When it comes to Google AdSense, less is typically more. Users are becoming increasingly attuned to Ads on the web - they know what they look like and in many cases, they are subjected to "Ad Blindness."
Again, the ultimate aim should always be to integrate, rather than emphasise, and advertisement.

5 Tips on How To Earn Money From Google Ads

By Ruth Morgan

Whether you are a beginner or a long-time veteran of the online business scene, you may well have questions about how to earn money from Google ads. A great program that requires very little set-up and maintenance is Google's AdSense program. Once it is incorporated on a website, it will pretty much run by itself.
Of course, making money with Google ads is not an automatic process. As with all other online income opportunities, your first goal in order to succeed is to gain some technical know-how of how the Google AdSense program works. This will determine the amount of income that you will be able to generate.
There are a number of things that influence the ad placements on a website. Google ads are either textual or graphic advertisements that are displayed based on the content of a particular page or web article, the audience of a particular website, or the preferences of an advertiser. According to Google, 'keyword analysis, word frequency, font size, and the overall link structure of the web' are the criteria that are used to decide which advertisements go on a particular web page. It is important to keep this in mind because it will help you decide the kind of content for your website.
To earn money from Google ads, website owners must consider the following criteria:
1. Are your articles well-targeted to your audience? Make sure that before you even consider signing up for a Google AdSense account that you spend time determining your market. Your readers are more likely to click on your website's advertisements if your articles and keywords are highly targeted.
2. Does most of your content generate targeted advertisements? The automated process of placing ads is a double-edged sword. On the one hand, Google ads lend themselves to the plug-and-play approach, which means that they can run on autopilot. The drawback of this is that you have very little control over what appears on your site. If your content does not generate targeted advertisements, chances are that you will not get enough ad clicks and revenue from your site.
3. What do you want your readers to do when they access your web page? Knowing the intent of your audience is important in order for you to generate income from Google ads. Some kinds of content are simply better than others in convincing people to click on advertisements. For example, an article that talks about the 'five best couches for living rooms' would likely do better than an article about the 'history of couches'. Why? Readers of the first article are very likely to be potential buyers, whilst the second article will possibly attract those who are just casual web surfers looking for something interesting to read. Obviously, those who are in 'purchasing mode' are more likely to click on the advertisements.
4. How well are your ads located on your website? If you want to generate AdSense revenue then you must have good content, but it is also very important that you find the right place on your web page to insert advertisements. There is no hard and fast rule about the best place to insert ads - it can vary from one site to another. However, Google says that in general, it is best to place advertisements as close as possible to web content. This is where it will command the most attention from readers.
5. Does your website properly integrate Search Engine Optimization techniques? It goes without saying that website traffic is the most important prerequisite in making money form Google ads. Using well-integrated keywords, meta tags, and other SEO techniques will help you acquire the online visibility you need to earn money from Google ads.
Whether you intend to use AdSense as a primary or secondary source of online income, it can boost your bottom line if you can implement an effective strategy.

Proven Methods to Increase Your AdSense Revenue

By John G Jones

Should you wish to monetise your websites, a great way to achieve this is through AdSense advertising? Many web site owners find it hard to generate revenue from their web sites, but there are some who can be considered "genius" that are making hundreds of dollars daily by using AdSense ads on their websites. What separates the 'men from the boys'?
As with success in any walk of life there are usually a few key fundamentals that you need to understand before you can compete at the highest level.
Consider these proven methods to increase AdSense earnings from your web pages.
Select a single AdSense ad layout from the variety of formats available, the rectangle ad 336px x 280px is known to work well and achieves a high CTR or click through rate. Getting a high click through rate is what increases your AdSense revenues as this is the basis of being paid by Google. The large rectangle format tends to resemble normal web links, and many people select them without even knowing that they are clicking a paid AdSense ad, which of course, is to your advantage.
Customise the colour scheme of your chosen AdSense ad layout to ensure that the ad matches the overall colours that you are using on your web pages. It is possible to create many similar AdSense ads which all have a unique ID which makes it easy to understand which ads are working well and which are less successful. This allows you to customise and change ads over time to use only those that have the highest revenue generating capability. Avoid border colours that are different from your web page background colours as the aim is that the ad blends into the page which results in more clicks from those visitors who find your site.
Always position your AdSense ads at the top of pages to ensure that your visitors will see them immediately they land on your site - the location of an ad makes a huge difference to the click through rate which of course makes a huge difference to your AdSense revenues.
Automating the insertion of your AdSense ad code into your webpages is possible using SSI (server side included). This approach is a great saver of time for those of you who automatically generate pages on their websites using auto generation tools. If you do not know how to use SSI or do not know if your ISP (internet service provider) supports SSI then you contact your web administrator or ask your ISP support staff. In essence, you should save your AdSense ad code in a text file and then upload it to the root directory of the web server using FTP (file transfer protocol) and then call the code from individual web pages using SSI.
As the AdSense ads are displayed relevant to the topic that is in the content of your web pages it is important to build web sites with content targeted to topics that are popular search terms. To find popular search terms use Google Trends which details currently popular terms then build appropriate content around these terms.
Google AdSense does not require you to sell products or services it only requires you to offer space for advertising on your web pages and anyone can sign up to the AdSense program so long as you observe the AdSense Program policies.
Once you have your account and you have created your first AdSense ad and have uploaded the code to your web page you should start seeing AdSense ads appearing on your web page or blog almost immediately. Sometimes these AdSense ads will be charitable ads until Google can find ads relevant to your content. If you do contravene the AdSense Program policies you may find that only charitable ads are being displayed. If this happens look again at your content and revise it where appropriate to enable quality AdSense ads to be display which will attract visitors and attract clicks which are what will generate revenue for you.
Many people have used these tips to improve their AdSense ad campaigns and you too can benefit if you consider these tips and apply them to your web pages and web sites.

3 Tips How to Make AdSense Sites That Crank Out Cash 24hrs a Day

By Paul Steven Nicholls

When using Google AdSense to make money there are many things that you need to get right when you build your AdSense websites otherwise your going to fail miserably and you will end up wasting your time.
In this article I'm going to share with you 3 vital things that you must do on every AdSense website that you build. If you forget to do any of these 3 things then you are going to fail and your site will not make any money.
Tip 1 - Choose high paying keywords
This is probably the most important rule that you must follow when ever you build a new AdSense website. You must only choose and create content for your website by using keywords that have a good average cost per click.
You need to only choose keywords which have a minimum cost per click of around $0.80 and use spyfu.com to check this. It does not matter what the number goes up to just as long as it goes from $0.80. By following this simple technique you can be sure that most of your clicks will return some good paying clicks and you will not need a tonne of traffic to make any reasonable income from your AdSense website.
Tip 2 - Make sure your keywords have traffic
Many people get this wrong
You need to go to the Google keyword tool and check each of your keywords to make sure they get traffic. The best way to do this is select exact match traffic and then only choose keywords with less than 320 in exact traffic.
This way the competition will be much lower and if you rank for a few of these types of keywords you will soon be getting some good traffic to your AdSense website.
Tip 3 - Go for long tail keywords
This is another big mistake people make
You must only go for long tail keywords when you initially build your AdSense website, by that i mean only choose keywords which have between 4 and 6 keywords in them
It will be easier to rank higher and you will see results much faster
Once your AdSense website is at least 6 months old and you have plenty of content then you can start to go for shorter keywords and you will be able to rank for them much easier. But to start with only go for long tail keywords.

How to Increase Your AdSense Earnings Considerably

By Mark Mutiso

Do you seem to be making peanuts from your blog while other people out there claim to make insane amounts? Don't you think you deserve better? Or at least a few more dollars for your efforts? I know that a dollar a day keeps you blogging. If you seem to be getting something for your efforts you are more likely to work harder to achieve.
So how do you go about making more money from your blog. For one don't go about putting ads on every empty space on your blog. That won't make you money. In fact it is more likely to work against you. I am sure you don't want to interfere with user experience. You don't want to mess with your readers, unless you want your blog to die.
To begin with, you need to choose whether you want to run image ads or text ads. I would recommend both. They both have advantages and disadvantages. Text ads load faster and this reduce the time your site takes to load. On the other hand image ads have a higher click through rate.
Now make sure that the background color is the same as that of your site. People tend to avoid ads and you need to make them as inconspicuous as possible. This will actually increase your click through rate. People may hate adverts but they will never avoid clicking something interesting when they see it.
You might also want to include ads in the text body. Somewhere where readers can't avoid seeing them. At the beginning of the text body, somewhere in the middle or at the end of the post. One or two adverts are enough. Like I just told you readers are king and you don't want to make their experience hell on earth.
Avoid using titles like sponsored ads, Google ads, or any other titles on top of the ads. Like I told you people don't like advertisements that much. They will avoid something that suggests the same like plague.
Vertical ads have a better click through rate than horizontal ones. I can't tell why but research has shown that. Have the big vertical rectangle and you will see a difference in the amount of money you make.
Having ads at the top bar can also do you some good as that is where the eye sees first.
By following this simple tips you will increase your AdSense earnings.

How To Make Thousands Of Dollars Daily With Adsense

by: Jamie Hanson

Who can seriously mentor you to profit $1,000 daily with AdSense? Well, I will reveal to you without any cost on how to achieve that.

When you rely on these programs, the only one earning substantial money is the developer of the program. You will be stuck having your meager $5 daily and marveling what you are not doing correctly and why everyone else in testimonials is raking in huge amount of money.

This is basically the reason why most individuals give up the prospect of earning revenue early, whether they are making legitimate profit on Amazon, AdSense, or by any other methods. They are assured of lucrative returns that turn out empty promises and they ulitmately become disenchanted with the whole procedure.

But, I am here to emphasize this to you: You can profit with AdSense and you can rake in $1000 everyday with AdSense. It all boils down to your AdSense mentality and whether you are serious to gain AdSense success or not.

To gain success with AdSense, you must carry a whole new mindset. This is particularly holds ground if you are new Adsense publisher. Why?

Because when you start with AdSense you expect not to profit right away. Generating profit with AdSense is not an overnight affair. Each individual who has gained success with AdSense will reiterate precisely the same feedback.

This is the impediment and this is the reason why most individuals give up trying to generate income online. Good results take much time. But, once you begin realizing substantial yields, you will be propelled to move on. The concept of passive income is enticing to everyone.

Allow me to articulate. I ponder, " How will this idea benefit me in one year, three years, five years?" This should be the right mindset in attaining success in Adsense.

Allow me to present you one concrete example. I recently came up with a write up on how to search for AdSense high-paying keywords. This write up is about how to look for great AdSense terms that are less competitive but high paying keywords.

Now, let us assume that you can drive 500 hits daily on different variations of this keyword, which is attainable if you strictly observe all of the procedures on how to make profit with AdSense.

Alright, now, granting that you managed to identify several good keywords, it its most likely that these 500 hits will compensate you $5 everyday after a couple of months from now. And, if you publish an excellent article, it will generate more visitors as time passes by. So, two years from now, it will be more popular compared a year earlier because more visitors will link to it.

"$5 per daily?" you quip, "that's nothing". Well, my dear friend, you simply lack the AdSense success mindset. $5 per daily is $1,825 dollars annually. On the assumption that your article(s) has a has a validity period of 5 years, and in most cases more than that, you will profit $9,125 on this single write up alone.

You, my friend, start making yourself $1,000 richer everyday

10 Effective Tips and Tricks to Maximise Earnings

By Andrius S

Probably one of the very first thoughts that come to your head, when you hear PPC programme (paid-to-click), you think of Google AdSense. The programme is really popular and is used by various publishers around the whole world. It is so popular due to the fact that it has many different revenue generating programs. Examples of such programmes are AdSense for search, AdSense for content, AdSense for feeds, AdSense for mobile content. However, not everybody is able to earn from the programmes. Many people believe that they will get rich by simply by putting an ad on blogger. That is a mistake and you should not be fooled. I provide you 10 tips, which will help you to increase your earnings with Google AdSense advertising.
1. Make sure that the Google AdSense ads that are appearing on your site are closely related with content of your website. Imagine that you have a website related to the topic: "Great eBooks found on the Internet". However, your ads are not configured and the first ads say: "How do you play golf?". Of course there might be some people, who are interested in both topics, but it is not likely to be so. Hence make sure that the content of the ads is related to the content of your website as much as possible.
2. Try using different online keyword tools in order to find a niche or keywords that sell. It could be tools like overture keyword tool, Google Keyword Research Tool, Goodkeywords, Word Tracker, NicheBot and KeywordElite.
3. Try using wide Google AdSense ads (250x250, 300x250 and 336x280), because these sizes tend to perform much better than smaller ones.
4. "No border" Google AdSense ads usually have a greater effect. One of the ways to erase the borders of AdSense ads is to make them merge with the website's background color.
5. You should place your Google AdSense ads in your content page. This is so, because the visitors of your site are reading the content of the page, but not the ads in the sides of the webpage. By placing your ads in the page itself, there is a higher possibility that the visitors will read more ads and click some of them (if they get interested).
6. Place your Google AdSense ads near images and videos, because the visitors tend to look at this section of the page.
7. Try to prevent using very bright ads, because the visitors will leave the page quickly and might not return to it. Of course due to bright ads the visitor might be attracted to your ads, but it is not worth it in the long-run. The visitor will be distracted and dislike the page due to the fact that you draw too much attention on earning money and not the content of your site. Your visitor is not interested in your earnings, only in the content of your site. Hence try to make it comfortable for him to read the page.
8. Track your Google AdSense ads and use all the different tools that Google provides you. Google gives you up to 200 custom channels, which you need to experiment and their position in order to determine, which way you will have highest possible profit.
9. It's always a good idea to give your visitors the ability to search your site. When you use AdSense's search box, you are going to get paid for visitors, who click on the ads in the search results page.
10. Do not rely on one website. The more websites you have and the more pages on the website, the bigger potential your AdSense ads will have to be clicked. Thus the greater chance you will have to increase your earnings.

Make Online Income Promoting Google AdSense On Your Website

By Michelle Jayes

A lot of online marketers have learned to make extra money online for quite some time now by allowing Google's AdSense Program to show targeted advertisements on their websites, promoting various products for their advertisers. What this has done is to create an income stream that has added greatly to the advertiser's marketing strategies while at the same time benefiting the webmaster who hosts these advertisements as they earn a percentage share of the revenue any time a visitor to the website clicks on the ads.
This is a win-win situation all round as the advertiser gets a possible sale, Google get cash for it and the website that shows the advertisement earns some online income for its owner.
Adsense is a program from Google that is free, and you are allowed to register an account and display relevant ads on your blog, website or on free article directories. The ads that are displayed are targeted, which means that the information in the Google box all pertains to the products that you are promoting on your website or to the information that you are sharing.
This has also extended to displaying mobile and video ads, for example a website that is designed to sell golfing products will display AdSense information ads on golf techniques or other information connected to golf. The ads being shown are paid for by the publisher to Google and they are specifically aimed at their niche market. The income you earn as part of the AdSense program is a way of saying thank you from the publisher for allowing their ad to be displayed and for providing the traffic to that ad. Google is aware that generally people are attracted to quality content rather than to a search listing, and notices how descriptive the sales copy is for the ads on the various AdSense enabled web or blog page, for example:
Acting Jobs 10,000 new jobs advertised every month. Find a job with Gumtree today! Visit gumtree.com
Take note of how it uses content to sell the idea of the website benefits. This is a form of sales copy where copywriters and publishers using the AdSense program make income online by being aware of their markets and using ads like this for great results.
If your website generates a large volume of targeted traffic that converts well, then AdSense may be a good idea and a great extra stream on income, but in cases where the website is struggling to get traffic then it is unlikely that AdSense will improve the situation in any way. Acquiring some search engine optimization help and choosing the best keyword for your website content will make the task simpler for Google and the other search engines to find you, which in turn will help to generate more targeted traffic to your site.
Remember that there is a difference between AdSense and AdWords. The beauty of AdWords is that people can purchase directly from the publisher just by using the targeted keyword and baiting sales copy. On the other hand, AdSense using baited sales copy allows you to make income online from people clicking on the adverts. The benefits of this are great because AdSense connects you with people who are looking for information. Not only will AdSense information ads provide you with extra money, but it will also give your website more exposure and increase your search engine rankings.

AdSense Rules - Follow or Risk All

By Gabriele CramerKnebel

It's quite surprising how many people I talk to who have never bothered to read any of Google's webmaster resources, and it's not unusual for site owners to lose their AdSense accounts or have had them temporarily suspended. It appears to be very difficult to get back in good standing with Google, so it is a good idea to read their rules before you join the game. If you are already receiving AdSense income, or plan on making it a part of your advertising revenue strategy, it may be a good idea to check that you are doing everything correctly - today.
AdSense has rules about how many AdSense for content units that may appear on each web page. You can only have a maximum of three ad units and three link units per page. Google wants websites to be informative and easily navigable by visitors, it also wants to make revenue from its advertisers, but not by making your web pages look like giant advertising billboards!
You can have no more than two AdSense for search boxes on one page, and if you own a website that contains racial, violent or adult content, they do not want their advertising appearing anywhere on your site.
Did you also know that AdSense units cannot appear in any software, pop-ups or within emails?
AdSense allows advertisers to tinker with the colors, shapes and sizes of their ad units but not to the extent that they blend in so well that they become unrecognizable as AdSense advertising. It can be done quite innocently - especially if you want your ads to conform to the overall colors of your site. It's quite easy to make other affiliate advertising you use look exactly like AdSense ads, but by doing that you will be violating their rules - think twice before you do it.
Google expects a web page to contain a minimum amount of helpful, quality content, so if you title a page and put no content on there, but instead populate the page with AdSense units you may get penalized.
Lastly - and this is very important - when Google crawls your site it wants to see a Privacy Policy page. This is essential for every website that contains any advertising. If you build a website with WordPress, there is a free plug in that contains a basic privacy policy that you can use. If your website is build with any other kind of software, there are plenty of websites that can provide you with a Privacy Policy that you can cut and paste and use on your site, after changing a few words.
If you have 15 minutes to spare, read the Google AdSense program policies to ensure that you are in compliance and protect your AdSense income.

Essential Tips For Increased Google AdSense Success

by: Ian Basford

If you've been implementing “Google AdSense” on your website for a while, and you feel that you aren't making the kind of money that you should be, you probably need to fine tune things a little.

To start with, you need to get traffic. Lots of traffic would be nice. Then you need to get those hard-earned visitors to click on your AdSense adverts and earn you some extra cash.

There are many ways to turn your website traffic into AdSense traffic. Here are a few suggestions to help bring you more success.

The first thing you need to do is tune up your website's content. For some people this isn't an option. If you're running a forum, for example, it's very hard to organise the content as you would like. For the rest of us, however, it is relatively easy to turn our little home on the web into a cash-generating juggernaut.

To begin, you should be aware of what your website's keywords, or keyword phrases, are. This is a basic technique in search engine optimization, known as "keyword density verification". A good tool to use is "SEO Density Analizer".

You should then take your list of keywords and search the "Overture Search Inventory" or "Google AdWords Sandbox" to find out if any other words could be doing a better job than those you're currently using.

Try to keep your website focused on the things that appear mostly in the keyword suggestions you receive. Include those keywords, or at least some related keywords, as often as you can in the various links and content on your website. Because of the way AdSense works, this is an excellent way to increase your earnings because you'll get better adverts in your AdSense units and banners.

It's also important that you continuously add new pages to your website. The more pages you have, the higher the chance that you'll get more hits on your AdSense adverts.

Make sure you choose the appropriate formats for your AdSense units and find the best locations for them. This is a much wider subject, but you should be aware that the top three "Google AdSense" formats are: 336x280 large rectangle, 300x250 medium rectangle and 160x600 skyscraper.

Make sure that the colors you choose for the units are also appropriate, as making them too different from your website design will probably mean that visitors regard them as adverts that have nothing to do with the content they are viewing.

Position the AdSense units where they'll generate the highest amount of profit. The best place to position your main AdSense unit is before the beginning of the actual content of the page. On pages with a long text body, you might find skyscrapers do better, simply because visitors get exposed to them longer.

You should use more AdSense units if you have a lot of text on your page. Just make sure not to overdo it because you might find that you will get lower click-through rates, and lower revenues, than you were getting in the first place. You can add as many as three units to a page, so use them wisely.

It is vitally important that you respect the AdSense policy regarding click fraud. Above all else, you must not click your own AdSense adverts as this could get you banned from using it.

Of course, there are more ways to increase AdSense traffic from your website, but these suggestions should serve as a good starting point to increasing your income.
